Hi, my name is Mara.

Though I have always lived with dogs, my life changed when I found Quax (the black dog in the picture above). An animal shelter deemed Quax too difficult to be placed. Through training him, I had to learn a lot about dogs and their behaviour. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know so I could do my best for Quax.

In Germany I worked at a dog obedience schall and helped owners of problematic dogs solve behavioral problems. Early in my work I learned that positive reinforcement is the best way to work with dogs to earn their trust and willingness to perform as a team. In 2016 I moved to Canada and carried on with what I love through Maras Dog Services.

I’ve grown my business through happy clients (human and canine), and now offer a full range of flexible services for every dog’s need. I always take care that your dog has the best time, either with me or with my well-trained colleagues.
